On August 20th. 2019, a herd of elephants including a calf were rescued.
They were trapped in a mud pool for about 2 to 3 days.
Perhilitan did a great work in cutting a slope for them to get out of the pool.

NEW VIEW OF REPOSITIONED WEBCAM
By mounting the webcam to the side wall of the Resource room, our webcam has a larger view of the elephant walk.

BETTER WIRING TO WIRELESS ROUTER AND WEBCAM
Today, we rewired up our wireless router and webcam at the resource room of CheWong at Kuala Gandah Elephant santuary at Lanchang, Pahang.
We also added a Kancilbox for Intranet access of contents via XO laptops computers, mobile smartphones and other devices so that CheWong children can use without having to enter the resource room.

WORLD INDIGENOUS DAY
We wish to express our congratulations to all indigenous people around the world for celebrating "WORLD INDIGENOUS DAY" recently.
In Malaysia, there are a lot of challenges for indigenous people especially on land rights, health care, religious activities and education. All these issues must be looked into.
All of us want to extend our best wishes to all indigenous people especially in Malaysia and globally.
